Cowboy candy is one of, if not the best condiment in the league. IMO.

I love cowboy candy. It’s canned jalapeños and they make a perfect addition to your smash burgers.

Try this recipe out and let us know what you think of cowboy candy.

Recipe:

3 lbs Jalapeños - chopped (1/4-12”)
6 C of sugar
2 C apple cider vinegar
4 garlic cloves minced garlic
1/2 - 1 tsp chili flakes
1 tsp turmeric

Boil everything but the jalapeños to make brine.
Boil for 10 minutes
Add jalapeños
Stir and continue to cook for 5 minutes in slow boiling brine
Add jalapeños only into canning jars
Let’s brine simmer for 5 minutes
Too canning jars with 1/2” headspace
Can (water bath for 25-30 minutes depending on elevation).
