After a snowy start to mid-atlantic winter it became clear that the floormats that come with the Tesla Model Y are dirt magnets and have to be cleaned frequently. After having had WeatherTech floor liners in previous vehicles, and not having been very impressed by them, I sought out the best all-weather floor mats for my 2020 Tesla Model Y Performance.

My search included the most popular brands lauded in the Tesla forums, Facebook and Instagram groups, and Reddit. After having narrowed it down to the Tesmanian mats, the custom fit TPE floormats from AliExpress, or the 3DMAXpider Kagu floor mats from a company named u-ace. One of the deciding factors for me was the tight fit, high trough to retain dirt, mud and water, and the rubberized texture.
