Our apologies about the camera angle slipping right at the start, cutting out half the frame, unbeknownst to us while filming! Hopefully, this video will still give you an idea of how we remove boat lifts over tall rock walls (toughest due to the run angle of the rocks) or sea walls with just 2-3 guys typically depending on the weight of the lift. We utilize our Boat Lift Crane (more info, here: https://www.liftsladdersanddocks.com/...) and a couple of old 8 ft. steel dock poles with augers, which we use for leverage as giant pry bars and lots of people give them away when they upgrade their dock to aluminum poles. Sometimes, having a wheel kit on the lift can help by getting the wheels up onto the lawn instead of fighting the friction of the grass or dirt on the foot plates, though sometimes it makes it tougher getting up the wall in the first place- all depends on the situation! Use this video and the techniques and tools shown at your own risk- always consult or hire a professional if you are at all unsure of your abilities! Check us out at www.LiftsLaddersAndDocks.com!
