It is genuinely insulting to both Robin and her to imply that Tracy was just there to give Ted kids because Robin couldn't??? And that Swarkles divorced due to traveling non stop (bs knowing how Barney is, come on!) but suddenly Robin is back to NY for her job????? Swarkles' character developments went to dust, as well as Ted's for going back to Robin after taking years to letting her go (tbh he never loved her as she was but an idealized version of her instead, they were great only as friends)...
I could make a whole essay about it (again) but let's now focus on THEM.

As someone who had watched the show live back then, I was so amazed by the casting for the mother because the expectations were so high and yet, she nailed it! Cristin did a wonderful job and her chemistry with Josh was chief kiss. I wish we had her in season 8 as well to add more...

Who would've thought this funny little sitcom was in fact a tragedy? But we did get tons of hints...
So I used them as parallels as well as the yellow umbrella. Their first meeting was so perfect (though I only watch it in alternate ending version) and it still remained a beautiful love story. They loved each other and appreciated the other's quirks and flaws, not just tolerated them.

I was surprised to see my Swarkles vid got tons of views given how the ending was and the fandom isn't exactly active bc of it and how it ended years ago but thank you!!
