The Valley Patriots girls’ basketball team led by Junior Trinity Schlueter achieved many goals this year including 400 wins for Coach Bowles and finished runner up for the 1A State Championship losing to Newcastle. Schlueter was the spark all season for the Patriots as she led the team offensively and defensively. She averaged 16 points, 7.5 rebounds, 3.4 steals and 2.3 blocks per game. According to her coach, she is a hard worker on and off the court as she is at the top of her class academically. That’s why she is February’s Class 1A Greater Texas Ford Dealers – Female Athlete of the Month.
