What difference does soundproofing your home make? Let us show you! Here is a test after soundproofing in an ordinary house in an ordinary street. Jim Prior, a soundproofing expert, presents a sound test after soundproofing a front room on a semi-detached house.

To get this level of soundproofing, Quietco installed their noise free home package which includes:

⚫ 50mm sound insulation system to the separating wall between the front lounge and dining room flanking wall
⚫ 50mm sound insulation system to the window wall
⚫ 50mm sound insulation system to the chimney stack
⚫ 185mm sound insulation system to the alcoves.
⚫ The suspended floor joists were disconnected from the separating party wall
⚫ The ceiling had 35mm sound insulation system installed to it

The UKAS accredited testing equipment had to be turned up to 110dB to get a reading, and that was only audible through the bay windows.
