Here I make a couple small knives from this old garden saw blade. I used Silky Oak for the handle wood. The knives I made are intended to be utility type knives. One takes on a kind of box cutter shape and the other is just a general purpose drop point design.
This is a fun way to recycle or upcylce your old saw blades if they are made of good steel. Instead of continuing to rust away or be thrown in the bin the steel will serve a new purpose as a knife.
