Do you Spend Time to Sharpen Your Mind Every day? Swami Mukundananda beautifully compares the lives of two woodcutters. One woodcutter used to cut trees in the usual way but the other one used to spend extra time sharpening his saw after every tree cut. Swami ji graciously articulates that without sharpening the saw of our mind, we are struggling in working through life’s problems, conflicts and issues. All such conflict resolution first requires our own elevation of consciousness. The more sublime the consciousness one brings to bear to these tasks and issues – the more efficient one becomes in handling them.

Without a doubt, a daily practice of sadhana is the most significant and quintessential aspect of the spiritual path. Our scriptures tell us that we need to do sadhana DAILY. Our mind is subject to wear and tear. For some time in the day, we need to enhance the quality of our mind and its thoughts and attempt to purify it through sadhana in isolation.

This is an invaluable video clip and an ABSOLUTE MUST watch video for anyone on the spiritual path.
