Can you spread "gooseberry" sized propagules from a drone???

Well, my first question was, what's a PROPAGULE?

It turns out to be a 20mm diameter, slightly squashy sphere, that contains a gel of plant nutrients and the propagating element from a plant. Basically, these were mini-plant survival packs that would give an 85% chance of growth to the plant.

This would allow plant species that rely on propagation rather than seed production to be planted much more easily than had perviously been possible.

And if they could be spread using the big XAG P100 drone, these propagules could reach even the most extreme terrains without and environmental impact.

Dr Mike Carver from New Energy Farms, who are a leading specialist developing and commercialising vegetative propagation systems, asked if their novel propagule would go through our drone and we were keen to find out.
