Getting ready for the 2024 drone spraying season…

On a breezy Thursday in January, Alex called in to Manterra’s farm to pick up his brand new XAG P100 agricultural drone.

He’d graduated from the Drone Spraying course run at Harper Adams University just before Christmas and was keen to get ready for a busy spray season in 2024.

Under the watchful eye of Nigel from Manterra and Scott from AutoSpray, Alex was able to practice his flight planning and execution skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Logging plenty of practice hours is vital for any pilots confidence before they tackle their first commercial job.
