How Rogue And The X-Men Will Be Introduced In Captain Marvel 2

For a lot of people, this is the whole reason for a shared universe to exist. In the Fox movies while we got a Rogue played by Anna Paquin, she was different that fans might have known her from comics and cartoons. That’s because in an unshared universe, the southern charmer could never meet the test pilot with alien powers, Carol Danvers who at the time went by Ms. Marvel. It was Carol Danvers that first met Rogue in the pages of the comics and their fight was anything but ordinary. The end result was a new set of powers for Rogue and a complete memory erase for Danvers who would eventually go on to become Captain Marvel. Well, now the mutants and the rest of the MCU are reunited through the magic of media consolidation and the stage is set for Rogue to make her premier on the big screen the same way she made her premier on the printed page. With Rogue set to be one of the first mutants to make it into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and that can have big repercussions to the entire shared universe. The question remains, will she be the ward of Mystique? Belong to the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants? The Hellfire Club, or maybe Mr. Sinister’s Marauders. Regardless of her affiliation, she will set the tone for the mutants and the Avengers going forward, which sets up another harsh rivalry story that could be on the horizon for the X-Men and the Avengers.
