This video demonstrates how to assemble and weld a T-joint and Lap joint in the vertical position, using E7018 and E6010. This is the second project that I have students in my intermediate SMAW course work on.

The T-joint will be completed with multipass welds, and the Lap joint will be done with single pass welds. This will test the students' skill in laying down several welds with slight changes to technique.
