But the population boom is a double-edged sword. While it can be the driver of growth for the coming decades, it can also be a drain on resources and the catalyst for structural failures.

Even as the vibrant tech sector is booming, large swathes of its 1.4 billion people still live in poverty, deprived of education and economic opportunity.
