The 2024 Kia EV9 has finally arrived in Australia. The upper-large SUV is yet another all-electric vehicle (EV), but it holds the distinction of being one of now only three zero-emissions seven-seaters on the market. Point being, it has a head-start on its competition, which is expected to come thick and fast.
Following in the tyre tracks of the mid-size Kia EV6, the EV9 supersizes the South Korean brand's emerging EV line-up with a model that brings a boxy but futuristic design language, as well as three-row practicality. It also has a relatively broad line-up of three variants that should help it appeal to a wider audience.
In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Andrew Chesterton puts the new Toyota LandCruiser 300 Series rival's entry-level Air and flagship GT-Line variants to test to find out if they've been worth waiting for.
