The competition is tough with the likes of an all new Chevy Blazer and Honda Passport hitting the market. This 2019 Nissan Murano has been refreshed with just enough tweaks to keep it relevant; but is it enough? Prices range from $31,270 for the base S FWD trim up to $45,130 for the Platinum AWD tested here.

On the outside the front and rear bumpers have been altered and the headlights have been updated. Its still the same basic shape with the cool character body line running down the side to the rear floating roof design. There are new wheel designs and a couple of new colors including the Deep Pearl Blue paint on this crossover.

Under the hood the powertrain is comprised of a 3.5 liter V-6 engine making 260 horsepower and 240 lb-ft. of torque backed up by a CVT transmission. Fuel economy is 20 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway.

The majority of the refresh takes place in the interior which is Infiniti like. The seats may just be the best in the crossover segment. There is good room out back and overall the inside makes for a nice driving experience.
