If you guys know me at all by now, you know my answer haha. I think research is important for building skills you may need in the future, and for making yourself a competitive applicant. I know some people say research isn't their calling, and that is totally ok, do what you love. But make sure you try all types of research, there are so many different topics and fields that you may end up finding a research project you end up loving.
