Pádraig Ó Tuama is an Irish poet, mediator, and theologian. From 2014–2019 he was the leader of the Corrymeela Community, Ireland’s oldest peace and reconciliation community. He is the author of several books of poetry and prose, including Daily Prayer with the Corrymeela Community; In the Shelter; Sorry for your Troubles; and Readings from the Books of Exile.
In this moving public lecture, Pádraig Ó Tuama demonstrates poetry to be an art that has always concerned itself with the questions of life: what’s growing, what’s not; what’s thriving, what’s not; what’s being stifled, what’s being fed.
