Efficiency isn't sexy, if it was, many of the Tesla crowd would be driving a Prius... Thankfully, that wasn't the mission of Toyota's most efficient AWD vehicle, instead this is about pragmatism. Need to climb rocks? Get a 4Runner. Want to tow? Get a Tundra. If on the other hand you want a practical vehicle with insane fuel economy and the added security of improved traction, this Prius is for you. About that rear motor however, it's not terribly powerful so keep expectations in check...
