The Mercedes-Benz 190E EVO II goes under the digital knife to come out as a modern restomod wearing stealth clothing and with a V8 under its hood.

The Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.5-16 EVO II is an iconic German sports sedan. The automaker introduced it as a limited-run special edition high-performance version of the W201 series to meet the homologation requirements for the EVO II race car for the 1990 German Touring Car Championship (DTM).
The 190E EVO II's engine was a 2.5-liter inline-four with 16 valves per cylinder - hence the 2.5-16 in its name. This motor produced 232 hp and a peak torque of 181 lb-ft, enough to propel this hot four-door Mercedes sedan from 0 to 60 mph in 7.1 seconds.

Mercedes-Benz produced 502 units of the 190E EVO II, making it a pretty rare car from that era. Its rarity and popularity in today's collector market drive up its prices, so it is unlikely that any owner of this car would consider modifying it.
