Onions taste better than meat! I've been doing this every weekend for 15 years. Super delicious simple recipe

Onioncake.

RECIPE for onion cake.
10 g dry yeast.
10g sugar.
200 ml warm water.
200 ml warm milk.
Mix everything well.

100 ml vegetable oil.
Mix everything together.

Sift 650 g flour.
8g salt.
Knead the dough with a spatula.
Sprinkle the table with flour.
Place the dough on the table.
Knead the dough with your hands.
Form the dough into a ball.
Grease a bowl with vegetable oil.
Place the dough in a bowl.
Cover the dough with cling film.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

For the filling:
Grate 100 g of cheese.
Chop 3 onions.
Place the onion in a heated frying pan.
Add 1 tablespoon butter.
1 teaspoon salt.
Mix everything together.
Add ground cumin, paprika, chili and black pepper.
Sauté the onion until soft.
Let the filling cool.

The dough turned out well.
Sprinkle the table with flour.
Place the dough on the table.
Form the dough into a ball.
Divide the dough into 2 parts.
Form each piece of dough into a ball.
Cover the dough with a kitchen towel.
Leave the dough on the work surface for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle the table with flour.
Roll out the dough ball with a rolling pin.
Dough diameter 30 cm.
Place the dough on a baking tray with baking paper.
Add grated cheese to the dough.
Place fried onions on the dough.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin.
Dough diameter 32 cm.

Press the dough down with your hand.
Cover the dough with a kitchen towel.
Let the cake rise in a warm place for 20-30 minutes.

Brush the cake with a mixture of 1 egg yolk and 1 tablespoon milk.

Sprinkle the cake with white sesame seeds.

Bake the cake in an oven preheated to 190°C for 30-35 minutes.
