HMS Duncan is a Type 45 Destroyer that operated in the Black Sea monitoring Russian operations in Crimea. A multi-functional long and short range radar system took up a large amount of the 1 billion pounds the ship cost to built. This price tag is worthwhile however, the radar can pinpoint a tiny object up to 250 miles away and monitor over 1000 objects at once.

With unprecedented access to a £1bn Royal Navy destroyer, the everyday life onboard HMS Duncan, one of the most advanced warships in the world, is revealed. Cameras capture the moments in the ship's short history, across seven months in 2018.
