Design thinking has deep roots in a global conversation that has been unfolding for decades. Today, design thinking has become common parlance in many industries and disciplines in India. The approach needs to percolate deep down in the SMEs and Startups of our country. With the view to sensitize the Indian stakeholders the benefit of investing in design, CII in collaboration with World Design Organization is organizing “Design Talk Series” supported by UPES (University of Petroleum & Energy Studies). We invite global stalwarts from USA, Japan, EU, South Korea, Netherlands, Australia, etc to share their journey and experience with Indian audience to learn and gain insights from.

The session of the design talk series invites Prof. Vijay Kumar, Professor - IIT Institute of Design, Chicago to share his journey & insights on the topic of ‘Blending Creativity and Tech for Future-Proofing Design Careers’. The session will be moderated by Mr. Manas Ranjan Mishra, Professor, School of Design, UPES.
