Have you wondered what is or how to cook a Flat Iron Steak? This is one of the less talked about, but very tasty, cuts of beef. Flat Iron steak is usually a pretty large piece that is several inches thick (mine was 2 inches). It is from the chuck part of a cow so a little tougher in texter than a Ribeye or NY Strip. I pat dry, season with tenderizer and fresh cracked pepper, then roast on the grill for an excellent medium rare. Cut across the grain for a more tender bite.
