For this industrial look desk I used select pine from Menard's with a Carbon Gray Varathane stain. I used 3/4" black iron gas pipe for the supports that mount to the wall. This desk is free floating or wall mounted - no feet touch the floor. The back shelf adds some versatility for a monitor or other items to keep the surface of the desk clutter-free.
