I really like the look of a pallet wood and shiplap walls but those two methods are either very time consuming or kind of expensive. That's where this plywood strip wall is the best of both I believe. Depending on the length you leave your plywood strips and the type of finish you use, you can give it the same look and feel of either a random rustic pallet wood wall or a more modern sleek shiplap wall.

I used three sheets of 3/8" plywood for this accent wall and had to buy some stain and polyurethane. Total cost was still less than $100.
