This vise is an heirloom from my subscriber's craftsman father. It was waiting to be restored for 20 years in a warehouse and he asked me to restore it. It was very rusty, dirty, and rotten. The vise jaws were rotten and all the pins were stuck. This is my first time encountering the "YUNG" brand,
I searched about the company but couldn't find anything, rumor has it it's a Chinese brand, I think the nice vise is pretty solid and heavy. I made the new smooth jaws from 2344 steel,
I painted it with sweet blue paint and added nice touches of brass because brass adds an authentic air.
I restored a meaningful memory to my subscriber...
I hope you like my work and my video.
