The all-new DS 4 majors on luxury and comfort, and is claimed to be a true rival to the likes of the BMW X2 and Audi A3. But can it really take them on at £25,000?

Well at first glance it's clear to see DS means business. The new DS 4 gets striking looks that set it apart from some of the more muted designs of its rivals, and features a cabin that's covered in leather and wood (DS is very proud of its wood). There's also so really interesting tech features, such as a neat 5-inch touch panel in the centre console, as well as an optional PHEV that can cover up to 35 miles on electric power alone. But we've heard the likes of DS saying they can rival the Germans for years now, so is the DS 4 really that much of a game-changer?
