In this video, see how a Silverson mixer can be used for the manufacture of Oat milk. But, many of the processes shown in this video can be applied to some of the other types plant-based milks.

A Silverson mixer can be used for the dispersion of oats into water, whether they come in whole, cutted or rolled, or flour form. Fitted with a Fine Stator Screen a Silverson mixer is able to reduce the solids down to the finest possible particle size. The same mixer can also be used to incorporate enzymes, plant oils and stabilising agents.

The fine particle size obtained with a Silverson mixer reduces waste through filtration to an absolute minimum.
