Gigafactory Texas on 28 July 2021! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Busy, hot & sultry morning! Besides a lot of great process captured in this video, I also recap the updated Giga Texas timelines that I presented in more detail on my 27 July video yesterday, so check that one out if you want more details.

Here are the highlights from today's video:
- More progress at the north main entrance intersection this morning, including widening of the frontage roads, work under the north bridge and widening of Harold Green Road west of this bridge.
- The battery cell structure is getting a lot of work this morning, including more cementitious roofing material application, final weatherproofing material installation, and both interior and exterior walls are being installed. There is also a lot of activity on the ground floor, including HVAC ducting being installed.
- On the west side dock area, we see more paving of parking lots, pipe and utility installation on the southwest end and what appears to be a vehicle charging row as well.
- There is a large amount of progress assembling steel on the south end of the GA structure which is now only 2 sections from the south perimeter grade beam across the entire width.
- In the central area, the steel structure has grown by several more sections to the south and is getting more steel erected in yet another section, all heading to the south. Floor and roof decking continues to be installed, following closely behind the steel assembly.
- The “alleyway” between the paint shop and battery cell structure continues to see steel erection and the structure here is growing quickly to the north.
- Across the site, there are more roads and paved parking spaces on the west, south and east sides today!
- The casting structure is getting steel mesh installed and the “holes” in the roof are getting filled in above where the columns support the roof. This is all preparation ahead of concrete pours on the roof to seal and join the entire roof into a single surface where the final weatherproofing material will be installed.
- I noticed many semi-trucks arriving at the site this morning, bringing a lot of steel & other equipment deliveries today as well! Plenty to see today!
