Jenson Button presents the 'John Button Memorial Trophy' in memory of his late father to Ray Morgan who won the award in 2014. The Trophy was presented on 31st January 2015.

John Button was a keen, well known and competitive Rallycross driver in the early days of the sport. The Trophy is awarded to the winning driver as a mark of respect to John who went on to help his son Jenson develop his career to the pinnacle of Motorsport, F1.

John attended all but one races Jenson competed in until his sudden death on January 12th 2014.

The Ripla Retro Rallycross Challenge is a regular feature of the Current MSA British Rallycross Championship and offers drivers the chance to race in historic Rallycross and Rally Cars across the UK. It is a perfect opportunity to witness arguably some of the best Rallycross cars ever produced. These cars include previously banned Supercars from the Group B era such as Metro 6R4's and Ford RS200's along with other exotic machinery such as Porsche 911, Lancia Integrale, Volkswagen Beetle and Leyland Mini.
