Emotional, yet fantastic footage of Jenson Button attempting to tame our very own James Harrold's VW Beetle before taking to race former F1 colleague, David Coulthard in a couple of #WorldRX Supercars.

The footage speaks for itself - Jenson is clearly displaying some genuine emotion when he takes the Beetle for a ride, feelings amplified after learning that the very car he was driving used to race against his late father in Rallycross in the 70's.

Jenson admits in the video that he would not be in Formula 1 today had it not been for his Dads love of Rallycross and also 'squeaks' "It's the maddest thing I've ever done"!

Retro Rallycross are extremely proud and appreciative of Jensons support for the #RetroRX category, not least that he has officially endorsed a trophy for the category in name of his late father, 'The John Button Memorial Trophy'

The feature was screened on BBC1 as part of their F1 coverage of the Russian Grand Prix programme on Sunday 11th October 2015.
