We end at the beginning. This drawing is the very first page I drew for ‘Colouring History: Tudor Queens and Consorts’. A whimsical landscape and Elizabethan fashion come together for a truly enjoyable coloring experience. The gowns I’ve included are based on details from a drawing of Nonsuch Palace done by Joris Hoefnagel in 1582. In one of my previous videos, I shared my process for coloring a larger detail from his drawing:    • Timelapse watercoloring of Nonsuch Pa...

Now that I have colored each page from ‘Tudor Queens and Consorts’, I hope you too will give it a try. With 45 single sided historically-inspired drawings featuring all of the Tudor queens and consorts, Henry VIII, lush landscapes, elegant costumes, and elaborate patterns, this book is sure to delight Tudor fans of all ages.

This book is written by Natalie Grueninger and illustrated by me, Kathryn Holeman.
