** Materials Used **
For the pastel pencil rose:
- A set of pastel pencils (Phil uses Faber Castell's Pitt range - the set of 36 colours).
- A sheet of pastel paper (Phil uses a cream colour from Canson Mi Teintes' earth tones pad but any light colour pastel paper will do).
- A craft knife and sanding block (or piece of sandpaper) to sharpen pencils.
- A kneaded eraser is always handy.
---
For the soft pastel rose:
- A set of soft pastels (Phil uses a cheap set of Inscribe or Mungyo pastels - 64 half stick colours).
- A sheet of pastel paper (Phil uses a cream colour from Canson Mi Teintes' earth tones pad but any light colour pastel paper will do).
- A kneaded eraser is always handy.
