Tonight, the documentary Kate Garraway: Derek's Story marks the end of a four year battle with COVID complications. Kate says her husband Derek felt like 'making this documentary was his way of saying, I'm going to speak up for the people who have supported me.'

She opens up about the cost of care which has lead her to rack up huge debts, and explains the difficulty of adjusting to a new relationship dynamic following her husband Derek's illness.
