Heavily refreshed inside and out for the 2024 model year, the Hyundai Sonata
mid-size sedan adopts more aggressive styling cues that are shared with other Hyundai models,
as well as a more tech-centric interior with dashboard screens as the dominant design feature.
The most dramatic exterior change is right up front with a sleek light bar across the top and the
headlights set lower down, not unlike Hyundai’s Kona subcompact SUV. Inside, 12.3-inch digital
instrument panel and infotainment displays are standard, as are wireless Apple CarPlay and
Android Auto. Also new for 2024 is available all-wheel drive, which helps it stay competitive
against the rival Honda Accord and Toyota Camry.
