'LMYS' aka Liverpool Muslim Youth Society proudly presents an explanation of Imam Ahmad's 'Foundations of the Sunnah' to be delivered by Sheikh Abu Usamah at-Thahabi (Greenlane).

Usool as-Sunnah is a very unique and classic text written by Imam Ahl al-Sunnah also known as Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal (rahimullah). The text itself deals with the Usool (Foundations) , the Aqeedah (creed) and Menhaj (Methodology) that Ahlus-Sunnah believe in. Such as Imaan (Faith) consists of statements, actions and what is in the heart. Believing in the Prophet's intercession on the day of judgement, the dangers of innovation, issues relating to the prohibition of making takfeer of muslims, the beleif in the Hawd, loving the companions, the importance of Tawheed and many other issues.
