Furthermore, we delve into the importance of mean cell volume (MCV) in diagnosing various types of anemia based on red cell size 🔍🧬

Next, we explore white cell counts, which are comparatively fewer than red cells, and their relevance in diagnosing conditions such as leukopenia and leukocytosis 🦠🧫

Your lecturer is Prof. Paul Moss. He is Professor of Hematology and Head of the School of Cancer Sciences at the University of Birmingham. He studied Medical Science at the University of Cambridge. Later on he was a fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists. His research is primarily focused on cancer cell biology, clinical trials and tumor immunology. 🩺
