The Legend of John Drenka is a Squamish Historical Society presentation about the life and times of logging pioneer John Drenka the founder of Squamish Mills. He was a forestry industry innovator and community builder in Squamish whose career spans the evolution of the industry from horse power, to the steam donkey, to railroad and truck logging and culminating with heli logging. John Drenka passed away on March 19, 2012 at the age of 95.
