In Madripoor, Sam and Bucky enter Nagel’s laboratory and discover him working on his experiments. Sharon warns them that they have company and fights off three armed men outside.

Zemo shoots Nagel dead, just as one of the men in the shipping yard fires a rocket launcher at the container. Zemo escapes in the chaos, while Sam, Bucky, and Sharon fight their way out of the burning lab. Zemo reappears with his mask on and creates a diversion by shooting a gas pipe near the enemies.

Sam, Bucky, and Sharon take the opportunity to flee and hide in a container. Zemo then invites them to join him on his jet. Sharon declines, saying that she can't come back with them and needs Sam to get her the pardon he promised her. She bids them farewell and meets her bodyguard at her waiting car.
