I kept seeing Sub $100 camcorders on Amazon and wondered...are they any good? What tradeoffs were made to make them so cheap? In this video, we'll find out! I filmed it using the camcorder!

If that's spendy and your budget is tighter, I've had success with these...just make sure you have USB power adapters to power them, but they're great for this and other stuff:

-===== Summary =====-
LINSEE is a company that has several cameras on amazon, and reached out to me for a review. They provided a 1080p 30FPS camera that has an MSRP of $90, but seems to eternally be on sale for about $70.

In this review I'll talk about the features, do a few demos, and then talk about positives and negatives for the quality and functionality. My review style tries to focus on things that I feel matter...for instance on a 70 dollar camcorder I'm not going to talk about design or build quality, but instead focus on video quality and usability. I filmed the entire episode on the camera, so outside of overlaid photos/screengrabs, this should give you an idea of the quality just by watching it. I also used the built in mic.

-=== Things this camera did well ===-
This camera does a great job for assisting in a workflow. I love using my iphone for shooting videos when out and about, but I hate everything else. Getting it on a tripod is a pain, getting videos off of it is slow, and it either fills up my phone way too quick or takes forever to go through. This camera allowed me to very quickly and easily get the video captured and into my editor.

--==== Critiques of this Camera (I'll update if I find more) ====--
The camcorder does support an external mic, however it MUST be powered. The other quirk I noticed was that you'll want to format the SD card right off using a PC before inserting it...I didn't have luck with formatting the card in the camera. Also please note this review is based on a week of usage, so it doesn't include any long term usability or analysis.
