It's the first day of April - as spring approaches, the ground swells with natural mana, and magical power is at its zenith. There's no better time to jump into the world of amateur wizardry, there's no better way than by starting projects, and there's no better place than Voidstar Tower. The world of STEM - sorcery, transmutation, enchantment, and metaphysics - is tough to break into, but once you beat that initial slog, you can truly make anything.

This Wizard's Tower is run by yours truly, Zack Freedman, self-taught sorcerer and former freelance artificer. Each week, I build an enchanted construct, demonstrate practical spellcasting, or really do anything mildly entertaining that furthers my mission of getting you to finish more projects.

This is a rather personal episode - I talk about my lack of wizarding credentials, the messy breakup that left me obsessed with spellwork, and more. But it's a great opportunity to experiment with some new spells, concoct some advanced potions, and put the 3D transmuter to work making some fancy artifacts. I hope you enjoy this episode with a slightly different format, and I hope you come away feeling inspired and focused.

No music this episode, I'm afraid. We only had 48 hours to do this episode start to finish, including getting approval, and sacrifices had to be made.

If electricity really existed, I think they would take it for granted at least as much as we take magic for granted. Not being able to fly would suuuuuuck, though
