This lesson introduces how to use Google Earth for conservation efforts on web or mobile. It covers topics like adding polygons, points, and lines to maps; measuring distances; adding photos and notes; sharing maps with colleagues; and importing KML files. The lesson also discusses the difference between Drive projects and KML files, and how to use Google Earth to interview community members about their use and values of land. The lesson concludes with a demonstration of how to create a presentation in Google Earth to share with stakeholders.
