❤️🌍 DESCRIPTION:
In an effort to combat the alarming rates of deforestation caused by commodity supply chains, the European Union (EU) introduced the groundbreaking EU Deforestation Regulation. The regulation aims to address the environmental and social issues associated with deforestation, ensuring that the EU market becomes free from products linked to illegal deforestation and forest degradation. In this session, we’ll discuss the EUDR and the role of geospatial and earth observation data in EUDR monitoring and reporting going forward.
