In this video, I discuss two ways to increase your Bitcoin hardware wallet security.

The first way is by adding a pin code that locks the screen of your hardware wallet. Your pin code can be up to 50 digits long. If an attacker enters the wrong pin code 16 times, your hardware wallet will wipe itself, and you will only be able to recover your Bitcoin using your recovery seed (12 or 24 words).

The second way is by adding a passphrase to your recovery seed. If you have a 12 word recovery seed, you add a 13th word . If you have a 24 word recovery seed, you add a 25th word.

It can be any word or string of text that you want, and is not limited to BIP39 word list.

Please don't use your dog's name, or something really obvious.

If you are ever attacked, you can show the attacker your standard wallet, but keep your second secret wallet hidden.
