“YOUR CHEATIN´ HEART”

Es para mi un placer presentaros unos momentos de una de mis últimas grabaciones para la serie “PIANO SOLO”; esta vez dedicada al genio de Hank Williams.

Hank Williams escribió y grabó este inmortal en 1952 inspirado en su primera mujer. Sería al poco de su muerte, el 1 de enero de 1953, que sería editada permaneciendo durante seis semanas en el nº1 y vendiendo más de un millón de copias.

“Your Cheatin´Heart” es uno de los grandes standards de la música americana. Según Colin Escott: "la canción, a todos los efectos, define la música country”.
Fue grabada por muchos de los grandes de la música americana Louis Armstrong, Fats Domino, Patsy Cline, Ray Charles, Nat King Cole, Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis, Willie Nelson, Floyd Cramer…

En lo personal está siendo un placer interpretar estos temas inmortales que llevan acompañándome toda mi vida.

It is my pleasure to present to you a few moments from one of my last recordings for the series "PIANO SOLO"; this time dedicated to the genius of Hank Williams.

Hank Williams wrote and recorded this immortal in 1952 inspired by his first wife. It would be shortly after his death, on January 1, 1953, that it would be published, remaining for six weeks at No. 1 and selling more than a million copies.
