Honest Opinions Of Our Van Build | We Survived 2021 Welcome 2022 Wrap Up

We cannot believe 2021 has come and gone! Another wild year in the books and we are excited to give you our honest opinions of our van build as we wrap up 2021 and the first year with our Mercedes Sprinter 170 4x4.

We started off the year by welcoming our brand new 2020 Mercedes Sprinter 170 4x4 into the family and quickly got started on our van build. With challenges of building in the middle of a global pandemic, supply shortages, wood prices insanely inflated, lock downs, curb side picks up and more we were determined to get our van done for summer to head to the west coast of Canada.

As we worked through the months cutting holes in the van for our bunk windows, installing Maxxair fans, a 12v Air Conditioner, getting the van spray foam insulated, putting up tongue and groove walls, doing our own DIY electrical wiring and so much more we slowly watched our van build come to life.

It was an incredible 5 months of building and we are not totally done, but it was 95% done and good enough to hit the road and head to Western Canada and then to Eastern Canada!

Enjoy our honest opinions of our van build! We would love to hear what you think!
