In this video we demonstrate how to wire one of the coolest Strat mods you've never heard of! The quarter blend mod. Go and subscribe to @JayLeonardJ Since watching his demo and explanation of the mod I decided to wire my main Strat in this way and will never look back.

What's it all about? With the quarter blend mod, the blend control only works when the switch is in the bridge position (position 1), meaning position 2 reverts to "standard" Strat switching (bridge & middle)

The normal blender mod gives you neck & bridge on together for that Tele "quack" and all 3 pickups on together - but the appeal of having all 3 pickups on together in position 2 is extremely short lived. This mod disconnects the neck pickup from the blend control in position 2 giving the best of both worlds.
