Some of the common risk factors, for kidney stones, include: dehydration, a high salt diet; surprisingly, not enough calcium in your diet could cause kidney stones. One of the most common misconceptions is that because most kidney stones are calcium that dietary calcium supplements are a risk factor for kidney stones.
