LIVE: Nürburgring NLS 7 RACE | 🇬🇧 ROWE 6 Hour ADAC Ruhr-Pokal - Endurance Series 2021
Season highlight of the Nürburgring endurance series: The ROWE ADAC 6h Ruhr-Pokal race is coming up! Around 150 racing cars go on the six-hour hunt for points and trophies. The setting: the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife.
It is also the racing premiere for the Sabine Schmitz curve: The first curve of the 20.832 kilometer Nordschleife now bears the name of the "Queen of the Nordschleife", who died far too early.
Lightning-fast GT3 cars with around 500 hp, robust touring cars and identical cup vehicles compete for trophies and championship points in different classes. In the top class alone, more than 20 GT3 cars from Porsche, Mercedes-AMG, Audi, BMW and others are competing for overall victory.
The race is on a 24-kilometer variant of the Nürburgring - the most demanding racetrack in the world. The Nordschleife leads through the middle of the Eifel forests, was built more than 90 years ago and leaves little room for driving errors. No wonder that the former Formula 1 world champion Jackie Stewart once dubbed the track the "Green Hell". This name is still the program today.
