In this week's episode I go outside and mess around with nets, 1/2 grid cloth and a 4 x 8 floppy cutter. Not everything went as planned but I think the educational content is still there even if the results could use just a tad more polish!

Note: I say about one and two stops of light loss for single and double nets. There is a lot of variation amongst manufacturers. I'm mostly referring to the nets from Westcott for their larger frames...

Other manufacturers are different. Some singles only have about 3/4 stop and double only about 1.2 stops of light loss. Kind of like 1/2 grid cloth which is definitely not 1/2 stop of light loss and there seems to always be some variation between different manufacturers.

BTW, don't even get me started on ISO in cameras!
